“Dance With My Daddy” is for any father / father figure who has a child with special needs. There is no age restriction on the children. We only ask that the father / father figure bring their child to the dance.
Each year, we have the honor of hosting 45-50 children with special needs and their fathers at the “Dance with My Daddy.” AFTR has been very fortunate to offer this event at no charge for the families, and we are happy to host the 5th annual dance on October 7, 2016. The evening consists of music, games, a hot meal, warm memories and a lot of give aways.
The goal for our annual Dance is to focus on the relationship a father has with their children with special needs. The 5th Annual “Dance With My Daddy” will take place on Friday, October 7, 2016 at The Colerain Community Center located at 4300 Springdale Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45251.
Based on the rave reviews from our previous dances, we are expecting a great turnout at this event. Our goal is to be a blessing to each and every person that walks through the door. Fathers play an essential role in every child’s life. However, the task can be overwhelming if your child has been diagnosed with a special need.
